Privacy Policy
Last updated 15 August 2026
This policy covers kamir.app as it exists today: a pre-launch site where you can read about Kamir and join the waitlist. Kamir the product (holding and releasing deposits) hasn't launched yet, so this page doesn't yet cover payment data; we'll publish an updated policy before that goes live.
Who we are
Kamir ("we", "us") operates kamir.app from Paris, France. For anything in this policy, or to exercise the rights below, contact privacy@kamir.app.
What we collect
We only collect what you give us directly:
- Waitlist signups: the email address you submit through the "Get early access" form.
- Contact messages: the name, email address, and message you submit through the Contact page.
We don't use cookies or tracking pixels on this site, and we don't run any analytics that identify you individually. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard server request logs (like IP address and user agent) as part of serving the page; this is infrastructure-level and not something we access directly.
Why we collect it
We use your email to let you know when Kamir launches, and to reply if you've contacted us. Our legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form, and, for contact messages, our legitimate interest in responding to you.
Who we share it with
Form submissions are processed by Formspree, a third-party form backend based in the United States. We don't sell or share your data with anyone else, and we don't use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist and contact submissions until Kamir launches (or, if you ask us to delete them, within 30 days of your request) or two years of inactivity, whichever comes first.
Your rights
If you're in the EU/EEA, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to or restrict how we use it. Email privacy@kamir.app and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, note it on the homepage.
